YOUNGSTERS enjoyed a Creepy Crafternoon at Port Glasgow Library to help them get into the mood for Halloween.
The session was one of a series of fun events held across Inverclyde.
There was family fun for children of all ages and all the drop-ins were busy.
Craig Millar, library supervisor at the branch, said: "Our sessions have all been well attended.
"We had 50 children coming along.
"The children were decorating wooden haunted houses and making Halloween masks with witches, pumpkins and vampire designs.
"We had spider decorations that the youngsters could use to do some colouring in and plenty of materials like paper, card and coloured pens so they could use their imagination to make their own things."
Every corner of the library was busy with families and children making their best spooky creations when the Tele visited.
Craig said: "It is nice to see the library so busy."
Twins Kali and Lianna Ptolomey, who are eight, were at the library with their mum Charlene.
The duo were colouring in spiders to scare their mum at home.
Charlene said: "This is one of the few inclusive things we can come to as Lianna uses a wheelchair. She absolutely loves her arts and crafts while Kali loves her books."
English teacher Hugh O'Donnell was at the event with his eight-year-old daughter Penny.
He said: "We stay locally and we're here at the library all the time.
"It's such a valuable resource for the area, we love it."
