I READ with interest the recent Holyrood Message column by Neil Bibby MSP in the Telegraph.
He is enthusiastic about the prospect of plans to create GB Energy, a publicly-owned clean energy generation company, with its headquarters in Scotland.
As his priority is 'creating employment opportunities of the future' I believe with its proud history of using hydropower Inverclyde should be the site of this headquarters.
We are in the process of developing a £4.5m Hydro System and local Hydro Pump Storage is possible in the future.
I am sure Neil with public support will pursue this vigorously.
A town with a history of being built on renewable energy deserves to be the headquarters of the renewables future for the United Kingdom.
