PEOPLE across Inverclyde are being encouraged to think about how they dispose of their pumpkins after Halloween.
The team at Inverclyde Shed have urged people not to dump their pumpkins, and to instead dispose of the vegetable waste at Shore Street gardens in Gourock, or at the Muirshiel Lane garden in Port Glasgow.
Pumpkins pose a danger to wildlife, including hedgehogs.
Vegetable waste disposed of at the Shed's community gardens will be turned into compost and used to grow vegetables next year.
