Jacqui, 58, from Lyle Road, said: "When I was working as a family support worker I was running these sessions and I thought I should just keep it going, as the parents loved them.

"It is my passion to help children and their families. It is amazing to help parents see for themselves the benefits of play.

"Being a parent is an amazing experience but it can also be a bit isolating and there is no point pretending otherwise. This is a way of bringing people together.

"It gives parents confidence and we explore different ways to play."

Jacqui's Play and Learn sessions are being enjoyed by lots of babies and toddlers.

"All my friends come here as well, it is great that mum is passing on her experience to so many people.

"Mum has really helped myself and my sister Sophie, it is lovely to pass it all on."
