HISTORY enthusiasts enjoyed a talk at the Watt Institution with a transatlantic twist.
Inverclyde Heritage Network welcomed local man Joe McGreer for a guest lecture entitled 'My ancestors - From Woodhall to the White House'.
Joe's talk was one of a series, with the group now meeting again in person following the pandemic when they moved online.
Popular artist and former Tele cartoonist Tom Johnstone also spoke about old pubs and dance halls in the area.
The popular heritage talks are set to continue next month with a speaker to be announced.
