A FRAUD accused Port Glasgow man charged with scamming a woman out of hundreds of pounds by allegedly pretending to sell her an iPhone 12 is due to have the case 'resolved' at the sheriff court.
Charles Stewart, 31, is said to have used social media to advertise the phone and induce the alleged victim to electronically transfer £205 to him.
Prosecutors say that Stewart, of Brookfield Road in the Port, received the money and failed to send the phone to the woman.
It is claimed that be committed the alleged offence at his home on May 15.
The case has been continued without plea at the sheriff court through lawyer Edel McGinty 'for resolution' on December 1.
