DRAMATIC scenes unfolded in Greenock's west end as armed police officers broke through a door as part of an ongoing investigation.
Officers were seen entering a property on Robertson Street at around 8:20pm on Saturday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson has today confirmed that officers were executing a warrant in connection with a live investigation, but further details about the probe have not been shared at this time.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.20pm on Saturday, 2 December, 2023, officers executed a warrant at an address in Robertson Street, Greenock in connection with an ongoing investigation.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
