PORT Glasgow Salvation Army is gearing up for Christmas with a series of carol performances.
Members will be hitting the high notes in and around the town to get people in the festive spirit.
Captain Ian Arthur said: "Christmas is not Christmas without the Salvation Army band."
The band will be at Port Glasgow Retail Park on Saturday between 10am and noon, and in Kilmacolm the following Saturday..
They will return to Port Glasgow on Monday December 18th to perform at Kingston Dock, between 6-8pm and Tesco, Port Glasgow, on Saturday December 23 between 10am and 4pm.
While there will also be a community carols cafe at the Salvation Army's headquarters in King Street at 2pm.
These will include a brass band, family fun and refreshments.
