AN historic Greenock church is opening its doors again for a Christmas service - after a ten-year absence.
The Old West Kirk will be back in action for a 'Light in the Darkness' worship.
An interactive Christmas all age service is taking place on Sunday December 17thosed by Inverclyde Vineyard church.
Lead Pastor Don Thomas said: "This will be the first Christmas service for a long time in the historic church and it should be a special event."
A decision was made to stop using the Esplanade building a decade ago when three of the west end parishes merged to create the Lyle Kirk, now based in Union Street.
