A SALVATION Army captain is appealing for young troops to create a new youth church.
Captain Ian Arthur of Port Glasgow Salvation Army is launching a new group with a Kids Christmas Party on Tuesday December 19.
The bash is being held in the halls in King Street at 6pm.
Ian said: "We are looking to offer activities for primary aged kids. In the last few years, young families have moved into lower Port Glasgow with children of that age group."
