GREENOCK'S Argyle Street will be subject to new long-term restrictions from January 8.
As of that date there will no longer be any waiting/loading/unloading allowed at any time at the marked parking bays on the south footway, between the existing double yellow lines.
This restriction will continue up until July in 2025, as part of the major regeneration works planned for West Blackhall Street.
The council says it is required to facilitate 'safe access and egress to the contractors compound for construction traffic'.
