Festive fundraiser raises £6,000 for Ardgowan Hospice

A SUCCESSFUL festive fundraiser hosted by well-known DJ George Bowie and former Britain's Got Talent contestant Edward Reid has brought in thousands for Ardgowan Hospice. 

The charity's 'jingle bingo' event returned for its fourth year and brought in £6,000.

Clyde 1 DJ George opened the night with his popular GBX Anthems before handing over to Edward, who led those attending through a fun-filled night of games and bingo.

Joanna Hunter, fundraising manager at Ardgowan Hospice, said: "Thank-you to everyone who attended this year's Jingle Bingo event. It was great to have so many new supporters there to enjoy the night.
