INVERCLYDE ferry services have faced major disruption this morning due to adverse weather.

A Met Office yellow weather warning for wind is currently in place until 9pm.

Due to the conditions, Western Ferries has suspended its Gourock-Dunoon service pending a review at 10am.

CalMac’s sailings between Gourock and Dunoon and Wemyss Bay and Rothesay have also been suspended and will be reviewed later this morning.

The ferry operator’s Gourock-Kilcreggan service is cancelled for the remainder of the day.
