A WOMAN has been taken to hospital following a single-vehicle crash in Skelmorlie this morning.
The incident took place in the early hours, with emergency services being called to Shore Road at 5:20am.
The road was closed in both directions for several hours, before fully reopening at around 8:45am.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.20am on Wednesday, 27 December, 2023 officers were called to reports of a single vehicle crash on Shore Road, Skelmorlie.
"The driver of the vehicle, a woman, was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital by ambulance."
