THREE young footballers from Inverclyde have been selected to play for their country.
Notre Dame High School pupil Erin O'Brien has made it into the U15s girls team.
She has now been joined by Owen Doyle, of St Columba's in Gourock and Jamie Low from Inverclyde Academy who will play for the U18s boys side.
They follow in the footsteps of other players in recent times who have joined the Scottish Schools Football Association ranks.

All three will train with the squads in the new year.
The SSFA president Gillian Duffy, from Greenock, is delighted with the strong local representation.
