SNOW arrived in Inverclyde just a couple of days late to have made our Christmas white this year.
These are some scenes from across the district today as Storm Gerrit begins to sweep in.
Highway maintenance workers were at Inverclyde Royal Hospital to help deal with the slushy conditions.
Elsewhere, Western Ferries and Caledonian MacBrayne cancelled sailings in response to the weather conditions and a number of bus routes in Inverclyde were affected.
McGill’s have been urging passengers to track their buses and check for updates on the company's website.
