THE Craigmarloch School community came together for a fabulous festive season fundraiser to end a busy year on a high note.
The parent council helped organise a hugely successful Christmas coffee morning in the Port Glasgow based school with fun for all the family.
VIP guests included Santa Claus, the community police and paramedics to visit and entertain the youngsters throughout the morning.
Youngsters got the chance to sit in ambulances and police cars and took the chance to ask lots of questions.
Head teacher George Walker said: "It was a brilliant Christmas coffee morning and we would like to thank the parents for organising it. We are very lucky to have such a great community supporting the school."
All the money raised will go a long way to supporting various activities in the school for all the children, from primary age classes to secondary.
The fundraiser was one many festive activities in the school including arts and crafts sessions, visits to Parklea Branching Out and a special treat when Santa came to the classrooms to visit all the pupils.
Now the youngsters and their teachers are enjoying the remainder of their holiday before returning on January 8.
