Pic1: I photographed artist Alec Galloway with Father Tom Boyle of St Mary's Church in Greenock as they discussed their objective of installing a beautiful stained glass window above its entrance. Father Boyle suggested to reporter Lorraine Tinney the blank space is 'calling out' for some artistic intervention.
Pic2: The public and members of the media awaiting the departure of MV Glen Sannox from her berth at Ferguson Marine were disappointed to hear the much anticipated move was cancelled. Tugs manoeuvred around the stationary ferry for some time before heading back to base.
Pic3: Flooding continues to plague residents of Greenock's Westmorland Road despite efforts of Inverclyde Council to clear the problem. Cars moving along the street send waves of dirty water flowing into homes and gardens whenever there is heavy rainfall.
Pic4: Members of the Port Glasgow community who make good use of Clune Park Resource Centre which was damaged by fire held a very happy and successful Christmas dinner in the town hall.
Groups will now meet at the newly refurbished King George VI building in the town centre.
