A FALLEN tree has blocked a busy road in Greenock.
A section of Greenock's Lyle Road, just after its junction with Lyle Grove, has been blocked since yesterday morning.
The stretch was taped off and remained closed earlier today.
The incident is one of a number caused by the conditions brought by Storm Gerrit over the past few days.
Many roads in Inverclyde have suffered flooding as a result of heavy rainfall, with some parts of the area also experiencing issues with snow on Wednesday morning.
The Telegraph has contacted Inverclyde Council to ask about the removal of the tree.
