POLICE are investigating following reports of a suspected intruder allegedly entering a property in Port Glasgow in the early hours of the morning.
The incident happened on Broadstone Avenue at around 7.30am on December 28.
Doorbell footage shared on social media captured the man walking up a set of stairs towards the front door of the house holding a mobile phone torch.
He is then seen to open the door before entering the property and closing it behind him.
A woman, who shared the footage online to alert others, said: “I posted it because I'm worried other people may forget to lock their door and God knows what he was up to.”
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 7.30am on Thursday 28 December 2023, we received a report of a man acting suspiciously in the Broadstone Avenue area of Port Glasgow.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
