POLICE say that an uninsured driver has been fined after being pulled over in Greenock.
Officers from Glasgow’s Road Policing unit stopped a black Peugeot on Inverkip Road on Saturday.
In a social media post, Road Policing Scotland said: “The driver believed he was insured third-party however the vehicle itself is uninsured and his policy doesn't cover other cars.”
The vehicle was seized and the 54-year-old male driver was issued a £300 fine and six penalty points.
