RUNNERS are being asked to don yellow at a weekly 5k on Saturday morning in memory of a much-missed friend.
Late Greenock parkrun legend Andy Cameron will be honoured by those taking part in Saturday's event.
He was a long-term parkrun volunteer and this week marks the second anniversary of his sad passing.
Organisers said: "Those who knew Andy will know that our event has never quite been the same since he put the hi-viz vest and big foam hand on for the final time.
"So look out your best neon leggings and let’s bring a wave of sunshine to the Esplanade on Saturday morning."
