A LUXURY housing development in the west end of Greenock is beginning to take shape with work on the new properties well under way.
Developers CCG Homes won Inverclyde Council approval for the 30-home project at the former Greenock Academy site in Greenock last year.
The development, now dubbed 'The Scholars', will comprise a mix of 24, three-storey townhouses and six terraced houses, which will have designer kitchens, stylish bathrooms and electric vehicle charging points.
Most of the former school site has lain empty since demolition in 2015 before work got underway, with the upper part of the land being redeveloped into a nursery in 2018.
