POLICE were called after a two-vehicle crash on a busy road in Gourock this afternoon.
Officers were called to the incident at around 4.10pm.
It happened at the channelised junction at the foot of Larkfield Road.
It's understood that a car and van were involved.
One of the vehicles was left badly damaged.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 4.10pm on Thursday, 11 January, police were called to a report of a road crash that had taken place a short time earlier on Cardwell Road at Larkfield Road and officers attended."
No details were given about any casualties or whether anyone has been charged.
