PROVISIONAL dates have been announced for the Waverley’s first sailings of 2024.
The iconic vessel saw one of its busiest seasons to date in 2023, recording a 50 per cent year-on-year increase in passenger numbers.
She is expected to welcome cruisers once again from Friday, May 17 for a Glasgow and Clyde coast trip.
This will be followed by a Glasgow to Oban sailing on May 20, as well as cruises of the Inner Hebrides from May 21-27.
She will travel to the Bristol channel for approximately three weeks at the beginning of June, before returning to Clyde for summer cruising between June 28 and August 25.
Timetable planning for Waverley’s 2024 season is progressing well with some “first visits” and several ports returning for the first time in many years.

The latter part of the season will see Waverley visit spots such as Plymouth, the Isle of Wight and London.
The final sailings of the year, both Clyde coast trips, are expected to take place on October 19 and 20.
Passengers are encouraged to sign up for the Waverley e-newsletter to receive the finalised timetable as soon as it is released.
