POLICE have arrested a man after rushing him to hospital following an incident on Greenock's waterfront last night.
Officers were called to a 'report of concern' for a man on Custom House Way.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.25pm on Wednesday 17 January, police were called to a report of concern for a man on Custom House Way, Greenock.
“Officers attended and a 24-year-old man was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital to be checked over and was subsequently arrested in connection with the incident.
“He will be the subject of a report of the procurator fiscal.”
