A STALKING accused man charged with causing a Kilmacolm couple fear and alarm whilst on a bail order to stay away from them has had his sheriff court trial delayed by three months.

Peter Muirhead, 58, is said to have repeatedly walked past their home, loitered outside the address, looked in their front door and taken a photo of the house.

Muirhead, who lives in Kilmacolm, allegedly engaged in a course of conduct against the couple between April and May last year.

He was due to have his case heard before a sheriff last week but the matter will not now be dealt with until April.

Muirhead has maintained pleas of not guilty.
