A GENEROUS Greenock opticians have delivered a vital cash boost for a local charity.
Reid Mackellar raised £2,000 for Ardgowan Hospice through an end of year frame sale, with 10 per cent of the profits donated to the hospice.
Director Campbell Mackellar said: “We wanted to donate the £2,000 raised from our business to the Ardgowan Hospice as we believe it is important to support the care they provide for patients, carers and families in our local community.
"Ardgowan Hospice offers compassionate care for the people of Inverclyde when they need it most.
“In recognition of the amazing work they do, we are delighted to make this donation.”
