A COMMUNITY group has returned to the Watt Institution to talk about the history of the harbours in Greenock.

Inverclyde Heritage Network are hosting a successful series of talks looking at all areas of local life.

This month archivist Lorraine Murray spoke about the harbours, which have been the lifeblood of Greenock.

The organisers are delighted with the response from members of the public after launching their talks last year.

Organiser Eleanor Robertston said: "The Watt Institution seems to be a really popular venue, people enjoy coming along and then have a look round the museum."

Next up will be Christine Hart, a member of the Inverclyde Heritage Network, who will talk about time travel.
