PORT Glasgow residents are being urged to get more involved in their local community.
It is hoped that a community council can be set up to represent Port Glasgow East.
Community learning and development are holding the meetings.
The next two meetings are being held at the Ambassador Church, in Oronsay Avenue, on Thursday, and on Monday, February 5, at Holy Family Church Hall.
Both events start at 6.30pm.
