PEOPLE can find out more about becoming a community councillor at two drop-in sessions on Monday.
One event will run from 5-7pm at Gourock Library, and there will be another session running at the same time at Kilmacolm Library.
The drop-ins will provide information on the role of the community councillor and the election process.
The events are being delivered by Inverclyde Council's community learning and development service in partnership with Inverclyde Libraries.
