CALMAC’S services to and from Gourock are facing disruption this morning due to strong winds.

A single-vessel service is operating between Gourock and Dunoon, leaving Gourock at 20 past the hour and Dunoon at 10 to the hour.

The Gourock-Kilcreggan route has been suspended and will not be reviewed until 11am.

Sailings are running as normal on the Wemyss Bay-Rothesay route, but the service remains 'liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice' due to the adverse conditions.

The Met Office predicts winds of up to 40mph later today.
