A POPULAR Scottish comedian and actress will take to the stage at the Beacon Arts Centre next month.
Janey Godley will visit Greenock for a night of ‘film and live comedy’ on March 20.
Janey: On Screen & On Stage will see the showing of a new feature film about the 63-year-old’s life, followed by a live in-person stand-up show.
She will reflect upon her time growing up in ‘the harder side of Glasgow’ and overcoming personal tragedy in her journey to comedy success.
The event is being organised by Glasgow Film Festival, Cosmic Cat and Hopscotch Films, and is supported by Screen Scotland.
