A CRITICALLY-ACCLAIMED show devoted to the late David Bowie will stop off in Greenock on its tour of the UK later this year.
David Bowie & Me: Parallel Lives sees BAFTA winner Jack Docherty share an ‘emotionally driven journey of comedy’, which kicks off with his time spent with Bowie on his chat show in 1997.
Jack will take the audience on a trip through ‘the inner workings of his masterful mind’ and explore why people should ‘always meet your heroes’.
The show – described as a ‘love letter to heroes, hedonism and everything in between’ – has received rave reviews and was enjoyed a sell-out run at Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Jack said: “I can’t tell you how much fun I had doing this show at the festival and I can’t wait to take it round Scotland.”
Jack will perform at the Beacon Arts Centre on May 5. Tickets are on sale at beaconartscentre.co.uk
