AN exciting new adaptation of a popular book penned by an acclaimed children's writer is heading for the Beacon.
The puppet-filled musical version of Charlie Cook's Favourite Book, by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, will be staged at the Greenock venue from July 2-4.
Adapted from the book by Little Angel Theatre, the show aims to create a 'supportive and non-judgemental environment around the exploration of reading and books'.
The performance will be suitable for youngsters aged three to eight and their families.
