INVERCLYDE Council's Labour Group are planning to hold a demonstration outside the local MSP's office on Monday.
The group of elected members have organised a 'budget protest' outside Stuart McMillan's office on Grey Place at 3.30pm this Monday.
An online flyer describes the event as a 'peaceful gathering' which aims to 'let the Scottish Government know we need more money for councils'.
The protest comes as Inverclyde Council considers a range of budget saving options to balance its books for next year.
