THE final round of the council's community grants fund for 2023-24 has been massively over-subscribed.
A total of 25 organisations have requested payments totalling £132,887.
But the amount left over in the coffers is just under £25,000.
During the first round of bids last autumn, 102 grants were approved totalling £282,706.
Councillors will meet on February 26 to decide on the latest applications.
Their officials have recommended that just over £23k should be paid out.
