ONE of Inverclyde's biggest employers is recruiting up to 15 new apprentices.
Ferguson Marine is looking for candidates for fabricator and welder roles which will begin in August this year.
The nationalised Port Glasgow shipbuilding firm says apprentices will receive both classroom and practical training which will provide 'invaluable learning opportunities'.
A spokesperson added: "People are at the heart of everything we do, and investing in the next generation is really important to us."
Applicants should have achieved, or be expecting to achieve, National 5s at B or above by August 2024 in maths, English, science, or technical.
To request an application form email apprenticeships@fergusonmarine.com
The closing date for applications is Friday May 31.
