A GOUROCK contestant on TV quiz show The Chase missed out of her share of £13,000 last night after impressing Bradley Walsh.
Contestant Fiona, a reward director from Gourock, was praised by the host after answering six questions on the cash builder round, which added £6,000 to her team's overall prize pool.
She told Bradley she was keen to use the cash to purchase a fence to keep wild deer eating her plants out of her back garden, or jet off to Lanzarote.
Fiona saw off chaser Shaun Wallace, known as the Dark Destroyer, to keep hold of the £6,000 and take it into the final chase.
Walsh was impressed by Fiona’s efforts, telling her: "You are good. You can seriously play. What a great player, very good indeed."
But Fiona and her team unfortunately fell short in the final chase and lost out on her share of £13,000 as the Dark Destroyer won with 42 seconds to spare.
