A WOMAN was taken to hospital following a crash outside McDonald's in Greenock yesterday.
Police and ambulance staff attended the two-car collision on James Watt Way at around 3:35pm.
A queue of vehicles formed along the road following the crash due to the road being blocked by the pair of stricken vehicles.
A woman was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital after the incident as a precaution.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.35pm on Thursday, 22 February, 2024, officers were called to a report of a two-car crash on James Watt Way in Greenock.
“Emergency services attended and one woman was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital as a precaution.”
