POLICE have seized a quantity of class A drugs and money after raiding a house in Port Glasgow.
A team of officers carried out the intelligence-led operation at a property on Cardross Avenue.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested and reported to the procurator fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "On Wednesday, 21st February 2024, officers from Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Proactive Crime Team carried out a search under a Sheriffs drugs warrant at a property in Cardross Avenue, Port Glasgow. A quantity of Class A drugs was seized along with a quantity of money.
"A 21-year-old male was arrested and charged in relation to a Misuse of Drug Act offence and will appear at Greenock Sheriff Court at a later date.
"Anyone who has concerns regarding drug dealing are asked to report this to Police Scotland via 101 or to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
