FIRE crews tackled a blaze at the derelict Clune Park estate in Port Glasgow this morning.
A total of four appliances were dispatched to the scene just after 6am after reports of a fire within one of the tenement buildings on Robert Street.
Firefighters remained in attendance at the blaze for several hours after being alerted to the incident.
Smoke was seen billowing out of one of the properties on the top floor of one of the buildings.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service said: “We received two reports of a dwelling on fire at around 6.05am.
“Control mobilised four appliances to the incident and firefighters are still in attendance.”
This morning’s fire is the second blaze on the estate this month.
Crews attended an incident on Robert Street on February 5.
