THE local Group for Gaza has raised over £500 following the outdoor screening of a film in Gourock over the weekend.
Organisers say that Lightshow for Gaza attracted a good turnout to Kempock Street.
The group's Mary McGlashan said: "People were visibly moved by the beautiful images and the powerful soundtrack, composed by local musician Yvonne Lyon and arranged by award-winning composer, Malcolm Lindsay.
"Group for Gaza raised another £550 for Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) and the film is now available to watch and share on social media and YouTube.
"The group would like to extend its thanks to all who contributed so generously."
