PEOPLE can find out more about the history of witches in Scotland at an event in Gourock on Thursday evening.
Artist Carolyn Sutton and archivist Lorraine Murray will present 'Witches in Word, not Deed' at Gourock Library from 5.30-6.30pm.
The event will focus on the 13 women who were persecuted as witches across Scotland under the Witchcraft Act of 1563.
