A GREENOCK man charged with carrying a sword in his home street has had a warrant issued for his arrest after he missed a court hearing.
Colin McIver was absent from the latest calling of his indictment case and also failed to appear at a previous diet, according to prosecutors.
The 24-year-old is accused of having unlawful possession of the bladed weapon in Belville Street on February 27, 2022.
McIver is alleged to have conducted himself in a disorderly manner and uttered threats towards a woman on the same date - in breach of a September 2021 bail order requiring him to stay away from the complainer.
