PATRIOTIC pupils at a Greenock school celebrated all things Scottish in a spectacular showcase.
Boys and girls in Primary 7 at Ardgowan Primary hosted an event full of song, dance, music, and poetry to mark the end of a Robert Burns project.
The school invited the pupils' family and friends along to see the young people show everyone what they had learned.
A group of skilful Scottish country dancers put on an amazing display.
There were also some 'action songs', perfect poems, crazy Scottish jokes, and pitch-perfect performances from very talented musicians.
Everyone got the chance to sample two Scottish delicacies - Irn-Bru and shortbread.
Pupils also competed in the Jolly Beggars Burns contest alongside pupils from other schools across Inverclyde as part of the project.
Primary 7 teacher Jane Noble said the event was a great success.
She added: "The pupils all worked very hard and it was a fantastic event.
"It was a great way to celebrate the end of the project and show family and friends everything we had learned."
