AN historian HISTORIAN will meet Lee Jeans heroines to mark International Women's Day next week.
Dr Andy Clark from Newcastle University will host an event with some of the women who were involved in the famous 1981 Greenock factory sit-in.
The academic will hold a question and answer session with the inspirational workers who took on an American multinational and won.
The event is being held on Friday March 8 between 4.30 and 5.30pm at Greenock Central Library.
