LOCAL ladies will brave the waves on Friday to raise money for a vital Inverclyde charity.
Lisa Boonsanong, who runs outdoor swimming group Happy and Wild, has organised a cold water dip to celebrate International Women's Day.
Women taking the plunge will be meeting at Inverkip Yacht Club for the swim, which will begin at 7.30am.
All sponsorship and donations will go to Inverclyde Women's Aid.
