A BOAT club in Greenock is seeking permission to revamp its roof in a bid to tackle water leaks.
Proposals to reroof the Royal West of Scotland Amateur Boat Club's clubhouse on the Esplanade, replace its rooflights and rainwater goods, renew its fascia trims, repaint its flagstaff and turret finials and add a new unisex toilet have been lodged with Inverclyde Council.
The roof of the B-listed building is said to be suffering from ongoing water ingress.
A supporting document states the works would be completed in phases over a period of approximately five years.
The application is being considered by planners.
