ECO groups across Inverclyde are coming together for the launch of the Big Clyde Beach Clean.
They are hoping to encourage volunteers to sign up for litter picks taking place across the district.
The Literati Guide to Inverclyde are teaming up with social enterprise company Green Tangerine and Keep Scotland Beautiful to champion the event.
It launches at Parklea in Port Glasgow on Friday.
